Robert Langenfeld, a talented music composer, was great to work with on this piece. He had me do the cover illustration for his symphony piece titled “Symphony No.1 The Great Machine.” Robert mentioned he was a fan of some of my other pieces that featured a retro feel with some halftone shading, so we carried that through here. This symphony piece has a theme throughout of tech gone wrong to post apocalyptic levels. This graphic image reflects those themes in a dramatic way - a menacing robotic face with deep dark shadows and a reflection in the eyes of an earth on fire.
